Joining his father’s shop at 15, Mr. Manilal Dholakia managed and expanded the business. He successfully extended their product reach from Sihor to neighboring villages, establishing a solid foundation for future growth and ensuring the family business continued to thrive.
Mr. Purshotam Dholakia, a visionary, joined the family business early. Under his leadership, the business grew from a two-room unit to a six-room factory. A marketing expert, he and his brother expanded the business to four states in India, launching 12 snuff brands. Active until 85, Mr. Purshotam Dholakia’s guidance was crucial to the company's success.
Mr. Navin Dholakia continued the family legacy with dedication and innovation, driving the business forward. His strategic vision and operational expertise ensured that the business sustained growth and adapted to new market opportunities.
Mr. Parag Dholakia joined the family business in 1988 at age 20, leading the growth of two major brands that became top sales contributors by 2003. Together with Mrs. Namrata Dholakia, they established Dholakia Tobacco Pvt. Ltd in 2003. Their leadership expanded the company’s presence to the USA, Germany, and Africa, launching new snuff and chewing tobacco brands in India.
Mr. Nihar Dholakia joined the business in 2015 after completing his studies. He led the venture into next-generation products, resulting in tenfold growth. Under his leadership, the company now operates in 30 countries, aiming to be among the top 5 companies in the NGP category.
